We don't steal your data

Straight up: we never steal, sell, rent, or hand your data to anyone. Here is exactly what that means:

We don't sell your data. Ever. To anyone. There is no ad network, no data broker, no third-party tracking company getting anything from us.
We don't spy on you. We don't read your messages, follow you across other websites, or build a profile of you to target ads.
Your data is used only to run the app. Your progress and badges are private to your account. Your display name and portfolio totals appear on leaderboards, and the DENI team can review trades to stop cheating.
Guest mode keeps your progress and practice trades on your own device. Messages you send to Andro are still sent to our AI service so it can answer.

Your data is yours

Your account, learning progress, badges, and paper trading history are stored to run the app and are restricted to your signed-in account. Competition participants in the same room can see names and portfolio totals on the leaderboard. If you connect an AI assistant to your account, it can read the progress and trading information you authorize. Messages you send to Andro are processed by an AI service to generate replies; don't include private information in them.

Environment-friendly

We aim to keep the app lightweight with small downloads and efficient requests. We cannot guarantee that every service powering DENI uses renewable energy.

Our mission

Make investing literacy free, fun, and accessible to anyone, anywhere, in their own language. We believe being good with money is a basic life skill - not a luxury.

Not financial advice

DENI is an educational tool. Nothing in the app is personalized financial advice. Always do your own research before risking real money.

Privacy Policy

Effective November 2, 2026. This policy covers the DENI website (denitrade.org) and the DENI app.

What we collect

Account info: your email address and display name (and profile photo if you sign in with Google).
App activity: lessons finished, quiz results, badges, paper trades, portfolios and competition entries.
Andro messages: the text you send to the Andro chat, so it can reply.
Support and reports: what you write in the support form or when you report a player.
Basic usage counts: anonymous page-view counts (which page, roughly when, and from which site you came) to see how DENI is used. We use no advertising IDs and no tracking across other apps or websites.

How we use it

Only to run DENI: saving your progress, running paper trading and competitions, showing leaderboards, answering Andro chats, stopping cheating and abuse, and answering support requests. We never sell your data or use it for ads.

Who we share it with

Other players: your display name, portfolio totals and competition standings are public on leaderboards.
Service providers that run DENI for us: our hosting and database provider, Google (only if you choose Google sign-in), a stock price data provider (receives stock symbols, not your info), and an AI provider that processes Andro messages to write replies. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
Legal reasons: if the law requires it or to protect someone's safety.

AI (Andro)

Andro is an AI assistant. Your chat messages are sent to a third-party AI model to generate answers. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not store your chat history on our servers. Andro can be wrong and is not financial advice. Don't share private details with it.

How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account exists. Guest data stays on your device and is cleared when you close the tab or clear your browser. Anti-spam records for Andro are short-lived and do not contain your address or messages.

Your choices and rights

Delete your account: go to Settings and tap Delete account. Your account and everything tied to it is permanently erased.
See, fix or get a copy of your data: change your name in Settings, or contact us and we'll help.
Stop using features: you can use DENI as a guest, skip Andro, or sign out any time.

Kids and teens

DENI is made for learners, including teens. Users under 13 should only use DENI with a parent's or teacher's permission. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and protected so each account can only reach its own private data. No system is perfect, so please use a strong password.
