For teachers, investing clubs, FBLA and DECA
A free stock market simulator for high school classes and clubs
Deni pairs short investing lessons with a paper trading account and friendly competitions. It was built by high school students for students who want to learn investing before they ever use real money.
What your students get
Lessons that come first
Bite-sized units and quizzes cover saving, stocks, risk, diversification and reading charts, so students learn why before they trade.
Paper trading on live prices
Students practice buying, selling and shorting real stocks with virtual money. Nobody risks a real dollar.
Private rooms for your group
Create a competition room, share the code, and run a game just for your class or club.
Weekly season competition
Every week starts fresh at $10,000 and points go by finishing place, so one lucky week can't decide the whole season.
Andro, an AI tutor
Students can ask questions in plain words. Andro explains concepts and reminds them it's education, not financial advice.
Free and privacy-first
No cost, and we never sell student data. We only use it to run Deni, as our privacy policy explains. Students can even try it as a guest without an account.
How to run it with your group
- Have students start with the first lessons on the Learn page.
- Let them practice on their own paper trading account.
- Create a private room and share the code for a class or club game.
- Talk through the results: what worked, what was risk, and what was luck.
